Recording and Mixing in the Heart of Cheshire
Fox Barn studios is situated in a converted 200 year old barn in Darnhall, Cheshire surrounded by rolling countryside and a lake. It’s the new home of producer and session player Daniel J. Logan who specialises in working with acoustic singer-songwriters and bands. The studio is built around Dan’s approach to recording and mixing with vintage and modern equipment alongside one another and is intended as a relaxing, intuitive and creative environment.
Opened in 2021 Fox Barn Studios is the culmination of over 17 years’ professional experience and brings together all the elements that Dan knows are essential in creating amazing records. Standing in the very centre of the Cheshire countryside, the studios have been designed to be relaxing, engaging and promote creativity with both their sound and aesthetic. Both the Live and Control Rooms have natural light flooding in which helps create an airy, refreshing atmosphere and the studios are packed with some of the very latest technology along with time honoured and respected equipment (as well as a few rather more quirky bits and pieces!)
